![]() We can provide a Euro V emissions compliant vehicle. PIRANHA V can generate increased power to meet modern electrical demands, and has a power management system that will enable the effective use of additional survivability technologies as they become available for use.Our mobility solution will underpin the improved payload capability of PIRANHA V, offering the growth potential to accept additional survivability enhancements without significant compromise to performance.PIRANHA V is designed to save soldiers’ lives PIRANHA V will incorporate the most up-to-date survivability features, from base levels of protection and integrated mine-protected seats to the physical layout that will minimise the effects of secondary projectiles.PIRANHA V has greatly enhanced survivability, uniquely benefitting from direct experience of PIRANHA on operations in Iraq and Afghanistan.PIRANHA V has been designed specifically for the UK and will meet FRES requirements at IOC in 2012.Our experience of managing weight growth gives us great confidence that we will accommodate the 30-year growth potential of 10-15 per cent required for FRES. Its design will benefit from the long heritage of reliable and highly capable platforms that have grown to accommodate increased payloads and increased protection levels of up to 40 per cent over the last 20 years, without compromising reliability or performance. It is being developed specifically to meet the UK’s FRES requirements. Anything else I'm missing.Based on a pedigree of more than 9,000 vehicles, PIRANHA V will be the fifth-generation of a very well-proven and admired family of wheeled utility vehicles. How should I make my vehicles more survivable. ![]() It's been a while and the codex has been changed a bit since release so I'm not sure how up to date everything is.Īs far as things that I'm lacking, what I'm really missing is anti vehicle but I can throw EMP Grenades on basically everyone, my Hammerheads have Railguns, and you can throw Seekers onto everything. Troops - Firewarriors w/ Pulse Rifles and Devilfish (good for holding back line)įirewarriors w/ Pulse Carbines and Devilfish (good for pushing up)īreachers, I missed this release but from what I've heard they're great the closer you can get them so definitely with a DevilfishĪs for upgrades, what would be worth it. I'm not opposed to putting Stealth Suits in here as long as I can get ahold of the old XV-15s HQ - Darkstrider/Fireblade, Shas'O R'myr (plus bodyguards for my one exception to the mechanized infantry bit)Įlites - This is all suits as far as I remember so that will be blank for meįast Attack - Pathfinders w/ Devilfish (I have one squad with Ions and the special drones, one old metal squad with rail rifles) I know that Devilfish are (the most?) expensive transports but they also perform well, especially with saturation.Ī general list I'd be looking at would be I'm not opposed to having Firewarriors as standoff troops but even they would have Devilfish. I've always loved mechanized infantry (I made this somewhat of a reality with my Raven Guard army back in the day) and so I was just inquiring as to what everyone's thoughts were on the effectiveness of a Mechanized Tau Infantry force. Now that I'm stepping back into the game and have a shop to go to, I decided that I wanted to change my army up to fit my personal preferences. Back then I had a fairly large mixed force of Tau that did pretty well within my small but highly competitive friend group. So I've played Tau since the later days of 5th edition (roughly the last year and a half of it?) but about a year ago I stepped back from 40k for a little while to focus on other things. ![]()
